Hello My name is Brandon Weatherspoon I am 18 years old and have been involved in martial arts for over eleven years. I Currently hold three black belts in three different styles of martial arts. These styles of martial arts are Taekwondo which is from Korea, Shorinryu which is from Japan and Shotokan which is also from Japan. I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and attend Hope Christian School from elementary school to high school. I am currently an instructor in the martial arts school where I was trained. I have trained at Takaimine Karate for seven years and have been at three other schools prior to this one. Each school has taught me a different aspect of martial arts. I am fluent in this area and hope to further my study by becoming a senior instructor under my master instructor. Martial Arts has been a way for me to relieve stress and embrace a group of people who interested in helping me deal with that stress. The people I train with have become a new family for me that I am close with. Martial arts has helped me gain respect for all that surrounds including myself. It has helped me develop a wide range of fighting skills that I have come to enjoy learning about. The competition gives me a a chance to put what I have learned to the ultimate test and in the hope of becoming a well rounded fighter.
